2008 – Paul’s Patisserie, Burwood

A lady, whose husband was seriously ill, visited Paul’s Patisserie every Thursday, with her granddaughter. The welcome, service and caring attention from the staff never failed to lift her spirits.

2007 – Boroondara Milk Bar, North Balwyn

A regular customer, who was becoming frail, occasionally forgot to bring his money. The Proprietors not only provided the provisions he needed, on account, they also loaned him funds to purchase additional needs from other shops.  

2006 – Anita L Boutique, Kew East

A long standing customer contracted cancer and was unable to visit the shop. The Proprietor regularly took a selected range to the lady’s home, in order for her to choose the garments which suited her.

2005 – Bill Cutler Optometrists, Kew East 

A young boy was damaging his spectacles regularly due to a health condition. Optometrist Brad Smith provided repairs and adjustment freely over a number of year and always made the boy feel welcomed.
